解決時差的中醫方法

乘坐長途飛機往其他時區,例如歐亞美洲往返,時有疲倦、失眠、腸胃不適,甚至頭痛等症狀,而這是由於時差問題產生。原因是短時間內跨越時區,會擾亂人體氣血功能及五臟六腑的運作,繼而臟腑失調,導致消化不良、精神不振或女性月經紊亂等。

中醫理論指出在陰平陽秘的健康狀態下,人體內的氣血會按時及按序循行於不同的臟腑經絡,故不同器官有不同的活躍時辰,例如早上7至9時為氣循行脾經的時間,所以為進食早餐最合適時間;中午11至1時循行至心經,此時段工作或學習應作片刻休息,下午往往會有更出色的「腦力」表現。身體器官按時運作,作息定時,其實亦是現代生理學所提出的「生理時鐘」概念。若身處時區忽然不同,產生症狀,亦是「生理時鐘」改變之故。

但出現時差,內臟器官會難以短時間內適應,例如腸胃蠕動準備早餐,但現況卻不得其時以進食,所以出現腸胃轆轆不適;或本應就寢,但強行提神以對抗疲勞,最終亦不得其法而精神恍惚,甚至疲倦虛脫及頭痛。

而要改善時差問題,可以選擇中醫的針灸及中藥治療。針或藥能調節臟腑因時區所致的失衡,現實中不難發現不少失眠患者,在針灸治療時往往呼嚕呼嚕大睡起來。但若所處地方未能尋求中醫診治,仍可以先以穴位按摩紓緩症狀。筆者建議可按摩以下穴位:

內關穴:位置在前臂手掌側,腕橫紋向手肘方向,量度三手指寬度處。

翳風穴:位置在頸項部外側,耳垂後方,胸鎖乳突肌與下頜骨之間凹陷處。

建議在所在地的正常就寢時間前,每穴按摩1分鐘,這能幫助減輕胃腸不適,及減低精神亢奮,幫助入睡。另一方面,即使早上十分疲累,亦不應過度飲用咖啡提神,或晚上飲過多酒精幫助睡眠。最後,要適應新時區,生活作息就要以到達地的時序為標準,一般症狀約在3至4天內紓緩,但假若症狀嚴重或持續,還是病向淺中醫,向專業的醫療人員尋求幫助。
